Meet  My  Trike!!

After    years    of    researching    the    available    trikes,    I    have    found    my    trike    of    choice...  The     Kettwiesel     from     Hase     I    got    mine    at     Mt.  Airy   Bicycle  Company  www.bike123.com   

 Shifters -  Because of the weakness in my hands, & the amount of riding that I do, using the "Grip Shift" that is standard on some Trikes, became very painful after about 4 months.  So, Bar-end shifters are a must.  I have never had a thought of changing to anything else, never!!  They allow me to shift on uphill grades, & to down-shift when needed.

Gearing -  The farther you want to ride, & the faster you wish to go,  the more gears you will need.                      

Pluses   -  Very easy to load, & unload from a minivan, pickup, or a car top.  Very easy to get on, & off of this trike.
                 And the best feature of this trike is the "FUN" that it will put back into your life.  I have seen men with PD,
                 who have had to have help to get on the trike, but then dawned a smile, & ride away........Parky
